| Hearts of Iron 2 is amazing game for hardcore strategy gamer. It is hard to find game which could be compared to Hearts of Iron 2. It has depth, atmosphere and on top of it - it is highly moddable. Let's take a look at where you may find reviews on this game and if you are further interested where to get it. Note tha Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday is stand-alone expansion, which means you don't have to own original Hearts of Iron 2 in order to play Doomsday. So basically, Doomsday is original Hearts of Iron 2 plus extra stuff. I would recommend buying Doomsday if you are interested in this game. It'd allow you to further expand the game with Armageddon booster pack, which works only with Doomsday and can be obtained via download.

"If you were always wondering whether Hearts of Iron II was worth a try but never got around to it, now is definitely your time. This expansion is stand-alone so you can pick it up without ever having the original and still have all the same great content. Some of the game’s flaws are still there, for example, I still had a few CTD’s (crashes to desktop) while playing. Although, while portions of the manual are right out of the original’s manual, I feel like they better explained certain aspects of the game that even after playing many games I never fully understood."
