Interactive Online Maps were inspired by Clickable World Maps (CWM). However, unlike CWM, interactive maps allows you to view world map not only by pre-designed sectors, it allows you to view any part of the world in many different zooms available. It also allows you to choose map mode you want to use (political, terrain and many other special map modes). You can choose whether you want to display province ID's, country borders or map grid. You may find this tool useful while making up your strategies, refreshing your memories or just when you find some information for your other needs.

Clickable world map is based on simple principle. It consist of 160 map sectors. Each of these sectors covers different area of the map. When you click on the sector thumbnail, larger picture of the sector is displayed too. This way you can view Hearts of Iron 2 terrain map and political map of the world in 1936. This map is not suitable for printing, since it is in low resolution and not the best quality. Also, sectors don't match precisely each other on the borders.
