I've finally got some time to update Pegasus Hexa Wizard to include resolution hacks for Hearts of Iron 2 Doomsday Armageddon version 1.2. Included resolutions are 1280x1024 (the only one I tested myself), then 1152x864, 1280x800, 1360x768, 1366x768, 1440x900, 1400x1050, 1600x1024, 1600x1200 and 1680x1050. If you can confirm any of these working, me and many others will be grateful.

The game has just shipped to the North American retail stores and can be downloaded digitally. It's priced just under $50. European release shall follow on Friday. Heil Caesar!

Second trailer showing some bits of Europa Universalis: Rome was released on Friday (April 11).
"The video demonstrates key gameplay elements players must master, in their pursuit of conquest and victory. All in order to eventually subjugate rival factions and excise dominion over all lands. What will it take to rise to dominance?" Paradox says. The game will be released on April 15 in North America, Europe will get it on Friday 18th.

You can now try new Europa Universalis: Rome yourself. Paradox released demo featuring The Second Punic War (536-566 AUC). Player can choose between Rome or Carthage and try to win this war exploting diplomacy, intrigue and historical leaders (among other possibilities...). Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday Armageddon received second patch (versioned as 1.2). Many things were fixedm like broken mission efficiencies, submarines/anti-submarine warfare (ASW) as well as handful of other things. You can find complete changelog and download link here.

Today, Paradox revealed its plan to release another expansion pack for their yet latest title Europa Universalis III. "In nomine" will move start date to 1399, include new possibilities of shaping your nation, introduce "Rebels with a Cause" and new Mission System. It'll require Europa Universalis II: Napoleon's Ambition. Some extra info was given to owners of EU3 Collector's Edition. You can read it here (if you have EU3: CE).

Upcoming Paradox title Europa Universalis: Rome is now available for pre-order at Paradoxshop or other sellers as Amazon.com. The price for is set to $/€49.99. If you pre-order collector's edition, you'll get some extra goodies as EU:Rome bust, printed map and access to special forum at Paradox. The game is scheduled for Q2 2008.
