Johan introduced idea Paradox weights right now to the masses on their forums. It's about them releasing source code of their older games (under NDA) and let community tweak it, create expansions/booster packs and have share of their sales on Gamersgate. You can cast your vote to show your opinion about this idea. Poll will be opened until February 6th 13:12 GMT. Are you excited about it? Well, go and tell 'em you are ;)

On Friday Paradox revealed key features of their next title Europa Universalis: Rome. It'll have EU3-like map with detailed topography (looks much nicer than EU3), covered period will be from 280 B.C. to 27 B.C. (I smell expansion already), 10 cultures (Roman, Greek, Celtic,...), characters developing their traits as RPG element and they mention robust multiplayer with ability to co-op. What "robust" means in Paradox's dictionary has yet to be discovered, but let's be optimistic. The game is scheduled for Q2 2008.
